Bumper crops of Basil?

Basil is by far my favorite herb of all time. It is by far one of the most versatile herbs in my garden bar none. I have always made sure my summer crop gets me through the winter by preservation of all sorts...frozen pesto cubes, basil salt ( see my "fire salt" recipie just substitute basil ) , dried, flash frozen in my deep freeze etc....here is a great link for some great tips to saving your basil and having a taste of summer when it's raining from the ground up and blowing 80 kms an hour in January!
