Got an unbelievable sourdough starter?

Great! Once you have made a starter your tastebuds are thrilled with, you can put it to sleep and save it for a rainy day. Simply take a sheet of wax paper, place a 1/4 cup of starter or more if you have a larger sheet of waxed paper, and spread it out with a non metalic kitchen tool. Your can allow it to dry and when it does, break it into flakes and put it in a ziplock bag or any other airtight container. Boom, done! Now you're ready to bring it back to life when you choose. Just feed it one part filtered water and one part flour of your choice!
